Yes, we are open! Confusion was made by our 18th sign we had up! Long story, lets' say! We are open, so come on in! We did have a very busy 18th we must admit that!
All the reception to our shop has been so positive. It is felt by most that the community needed this kind of "shop". We are very layed back folks and want our shop to be a "gathering" place for many. And, as others shared their own stories with us, we believe that it certainly will fill that need.
My sister Lori and I have enjoyed meeting you all. You have made us feel so welcome here with the ideas we have and the needs you have shared!....We certainly have the love of history in our hearts and have so much to learn from our customers each new day!!
This week we will have the real beginning of the beginners class and then the Underground RR on Saturday morning. My sis and I will be teaching it together, one will be covering the store as customers come in while the class is going on. But we want to take the class with you too, that way, we all be learning together. So, please, don't be intimidated by the class sessions. Believe me they will be fun!I am back in COLD northern Indiana for a few days, working on some longarming and working on a quilt top. My youngest granddaughter lives in town and comes out to visit with her Mommy Mi
ndy and our son Kevin; she is 18 months old and her name is Coralynn...she is precious!!We pray you are all warm and healthy!! see you in a few days!!
Quilted Blessings!! Kari
